Basically, follow up is like the basic to christianity and to build up a strong foundation for us.
so lets look into 2Corinthians 5:17
-->Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creaction; the old has gone, the new has come!
so it means tad all had become new because we now had become christians C:
And there are 5important things we need to do when we become christians (guide)
1. Get a bible (which dear chinyi had already bought me <3)
2. Join a connect group and get involved (i'm already in B1 C:)
3. Get the notes (which i'm suppose 2 buy from the church's bookshop)
4. Listen to God
5. Mee your seniors

for every follow up she'll gv me a verse so God would be able to tell me things straight without me lookin into the bible all the time,
so here goes, lets look into psalm 119:11 (ohh, it's in the middle of the bible C:)

"There are 4 types of heart, and you have to choose what of heart you want to be"
So we shall look into one of the many stories in the bible in Mark 4: 1-20 to infer the 4 different kinds of heart
-->Again Jesus began to teach by the lake. The crowd that gathered around him was so large that he got into a boat and sat in it out on the lake, while all the people were along the shore at the water's edge. He taught them many things by parables (stories), and in his teaching said: "Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants, so that they did not bear grains. Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up grew and produced a crop, multiplying thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times." Then Jesus said, :He who has ears to hear, let him hear." When he was alone, the Twelve and the others around him asked him about the parables. He told them, "The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables so that "they may be ever seeing but never perceving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!" Then Jesus said to them, "Don't you understand this parable? How then will you understand any parables? THe farmer sows the word. Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes the word that was sown in them. Others like seed sown on rocky places, hear the word and at once receieve it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. Still others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the word; but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful. Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop - thirty, sixty or even a hundred times what was sown.

so from verse 14,
--> The farmer sows the word
From here, (omg, i just realised tis is lik lit, COOL) we can infer that the "farmer" is God, and the seed is the word of God, and the different types of ground represents the different type of hearts.
so here's one type of heart ;
1. Wayside
It represents someone whose heart is harden against the word of God. They are not christians yet btw. These are also those seeds that are found on the path. Where the bird eats up the seed, yea, Satan is the bird, EVIL!
Here's the other kind of heart
2. Stony ground
It represents someone who became a christian but backslided when they face problems
So, in the story, the "Sun" represents trouble, and the "roots" represents us when we are planted in church, or the understanding of God.
So lets look into sum verse, Psalm 92:13-14 and Ephesian 3:17
-->Planted in the house of the Lord, they wil flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green.
-->What I mean is this: The law, introduced 430years later, does not set aside the cocenant previously established by God and thus do away with the promises.

3.Thorny ground
This represents someone who is christian but remains unfruitful
thorny grounds, there are 3 types
1. Cares of this world (example, family, studies, financial)
We are dipped in the thorny ground with the cares of this world, when we put these above God.
2. Riches
wad we dunno is tad money can only buy temporaily happiness and the true happiness comes from God.
3. Desires for things
This is when people are too materialistic, and go for things like BGR
and finally, there's the
4.good ground C: C:
It represents someone who is a chrisitian and is on fire for Jesus
We can look into James 1:22, John 15:8, John 15:16 and Galatian 5:22-23
-->Do not merely listen to the word, and so deveive yourselves. Do what it says.
this tells us tad we have to do the words of God C:
-->This is to my Father's glory, that you bear so much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
when they say "bear fruits", it refers to bearing the fruits of spirits which is like our character and attitude, and reproducin ourselves. Which is kinna lik evangelism, which is 2 bring more friends along. We could teach people too which is part of discipleship and for ministry serving, we could volunteer to be usher too, to make our kingdom larger C:
-->But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

cos we were 2 late, we didnt managed 2 watch the movie
unless we wanted 2 watch hannah montana or sth lik tad..which would be abit..(AHEM)
so we just kept walkin around tad place, which was quite fun anyway C:
