kk, tis is the scipture memory verse,
1 John 5:11-12
--> And this is the testimony; that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His son.
--> He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life
John 10:10
--> The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
We must know that when God speaks to us, we can find out through the verse whether isit really him. We should always pray with relation to verses too, like include them in ur prayer. When we speak to a friend, we could always quote the verse to indicate examples too. Eternal life is having a relationship with God C:
Your relationship with God and with the family of God; the church; goes hand in hand. You need to have both relationships in order to experience all thata God has in store for you.
1 John 1:3
--> that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His son Jesus Christ.
Our relationship only occurs with God salvation experience, so it only begins when through faith we recieve Jesus into our life. Our lifes belong to Jesus, we live for Christ. God will always want us, and He cares for us C:
There are 2 kinds of people in this world btw
1. Those who have Jesus in their lives and, as a result, have eternal life.
2. Those who do not have Jesus in their lives and, as a result, do not have eternal life.
Chrisitans have Jesus in their lives because they believe in Him and have received Him into their lives. The Bible tells us in Romans 8:9
-->Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.
So when people becomes Christians, they belong to Christ and His spirit lives in them C:
Matthew 10:29-30
-->Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father.
-->And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Sparrows are actually an indication of insignificant. However, even so, God takes care of them. God cares for us. The world is so big, and we too are lik sparrows, but He cares for us C: So God provides even for the birds, how much more He will care for us since we are His children.
Between God and us, it's a Father and child relationship.
The bible tell us in John 1:12 that
-->When you believed and received Jesus Christ into your life, you became a child of God.
We can always ask God for help ; our Father is perfect! But thr are 3 things we should/ should not do.
1. We must not treat him like a First aid box
2. When we like emo like that then talk to God, cannot!
3. We must treat God like a real father C:
God too has given His holy spirit to lead us.
Romans 8:14
--> For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
And as a child of God, God has given His Spirit to lead you. You can ask Him for guidance in everything. We should also be led by the holy spirit, and have the right image of God.

Luke 17:11-19
--> Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. THey stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, "Jesus, Master, have pity on us!" When he saw them, he said, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And they went, they were cleansed. One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He thew himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him, and he was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, "Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?" Then he said to him, "Rise and go; your faith has made you well.
We must have the fight of Faith!
John 16:33
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
1 John 5:4-5
--> For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who isit that overcomes the world?
We must be not just faithful, but full of faith. But how? We need to build faith
Here are 2 examples of people in the bible that has faith
John 4:49-53
--> The royal official said, "Sir, come down before my child dies." Jesus replied, " You may go. Your son will live." The man took Jesus at his word and departed. While he was still on the way, his servants met him with the news that his boy was living. When he inquired as to the time when his son got better, they said to him, "The fever left him yesterday at the seventh hour." Then the father realied that this was the exact time at which Jesus had said to him, " Your song will live." So he and all his household believed.
As you can see from the story, the first word that God said, 'Your son will live", it is a creation, not just communication. Faith, the hardest part is the point when you have not recieved what you had been believing, and the part you just got it, it is the middle part. So it's between faith and fear.
Luke 1:38
"I am the Lord's servant," Mary answered. "May it be to me as you have said." Then the angel left her.
John 2:5
-->His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you."
This is a 30years journey of faith, and Mary had it, for 30 long years, and it did paid off C:
There are two greatest fight of lives;
1. Fear
2. Discouragement
2 Timothy 1:7
--> For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
Isaiah 54:1-3
-->"Sing, O barren woman, you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband," "Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. Service yesterday
Hebrews 3:5-6
--> Moses was faithful as a servant in all God's house, testifying to what would be said in the future, But Christ is faithful as a son over God's house. And we are his house, if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast.
There are 2 types of Giver.
1. Gives as a servant
2. Give as a Son/ Daughter.
If we give to God as a servant, God will give to us as a Master, However if we give to God as a son, God will bless us as a Father
1 Corinthians 12:1
--> Now about spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant.
We shouldnt be ignorant, we should understand spiritually.
Ephesians 3:8-10
--> Although I am less than the least of all God's people, this grace was given me; to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms,
Focus on the word, "now". We must see the many sides of God, like how he is a savior, a father and everything C:
Mark 4:11
--> He told them, " The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables
Focus on the word "mystery". Lets say we have a king right, Jesus, but we dun see him. He is in a kingdom which we dun see. So, it's a mystery to us.
The bible speaks about mystery in Ephesians 3:19
--> and to know this love that surpasses knowledge that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God
Mystery of gospels, some make sense but some are just mystery. Here's the mystery of christ which we're all searchin for. There's alot of mystery in Christ. However there's this irony, we must not be ignorant, yet it's all a mystery.
1Corinthians 2:6-8
--> Because our testimony about Christ was confirmed in you. Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Corinthians 14:2
--> For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God. Indeed, no one understands him; he utters mysteries with his spirit.
When we pray in tongues, we must believe! We must build in our most holy faith C:
Jude 1:20
-->But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit.
Dun just hope, must believe! When u pray for sth, devil fight your faith, you fight ur own faith, your friends fight ur faith, therefore we pray in tongues, cos it let u speak of something that even u urself dunno. So only God knows, and no1 can fight the fight. It is the holy faith that will always come to mass if we believe in it. Understanding is unfruitful, we must pray with regular faith and our holy faith. Sometimes, we dun have to even understand, we just need to have faith.

What is the church?
The church is not a building. It is the people who make up a church. If the people in the church are strong spiritually and have strong, godly relationships with each other, then the church will be strong.
Ephesians 4:16
--> From whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does it share, cause growth of the body for the edifyin of itself in love.
The church is called the body of Christ. Like different parts on a body with their different but necessary functions, so you and I have our part to play. You and I are important to the church.
What is connect group?
The connect group is a small group of christians who meet together in the weekdays, apart from just meeting in sunday services.
A connect group exists for 2 primary purposes.
1. Encouragement in the CG- to encourage or build up of each other.
God never intends for you to be a Christian on your own. Besides, it is hard to be a Christian alone by yourself. It is God's purpose for you to grow with other fellow Christians together.
2. Evangelism through CG, reaching others with Jesus' love God desires all men to be saved
God desires all men to be saved.
1Timothy 2:4
--> who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Thus God not only wants us to encourage each other but also for the CG to bring God's love to other people who have not accepted Jesus yet.
What is my role in CG?
Commitment
Contribution eg. bringing our unsave friends, call and communicate
The importance of church culture and examples
1. Do not gossip and say only good things
2. If we're upset about anything, the way to go is up
3. We greet older people
4. We respect the pastors and leaders
5.We're on time for meetings and appointment
6. We take notes during services
7. We respect the presence of God
8. When we give offering, we dun tip.
2ways through which we can grow
Being open to God's correction and guidance
2Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for corrections, for instruction in righteousness.
Provers 18:21
--> The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit
One word can hurt someone very badly, so, nothing good to say, dun say

-->Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.
God corrects us because He loves us
Being open to Pastor's or church leader's corrections and guidance
Remeber, "Correction is not rejection."
Only strong love speaks the truth to correct and guide, weak love will allow a person to remain in his weaknesses.

Mark 10:17-22

Strong love speaks the truth.
The bible has much to say about correction and guidance
Proverbs 10:17
He who keeps instructions is in the way of life, but he who refuses correction goes astray.
Proverbs 12:1
Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid
Porverbs 13:18
Poverty and shame will come to him who disdain corrections, but he who regards a rebuke will be honoured.
Proverbs 15:5
A fool despises his father's instruction, but he who receives correction is prudent.
Proberbs 15:10
Harsh discipline is for him who forsakes the way, and he who hates corrections will die.
